Pitches & Packing for Nationals

I’ve spent today getting all my clothes for the conference washed, pressed, and ready to pack.  I usually do this the night before; but since I work tomorrow and leave Tuesday, I don’t have much time. In between loads of wash, I’ve worked on my pitches. My sweet romance pitch is done–well, except for my writer’s group feedback–but my contemporary Gothic single title needs some work. It’s really hard to condense a 100K-word book into a 10-minute agent appointment. I’ll keep working on it.

I also sat down and decided what workshops I want to attend. This was not an easy task. There are so many good ones, I sometimes had to list two or three choices.  Hope my PDA doesn’t explode!  It’s never seen this much action in a single day, let alone four straight days!
